Return & Exchange Policy
At Trackside Camera Supply, we stand behind the products and services we provide.
We aim to offer fair resolutions while maintaining reasonable protections for our small business.
New Gear
New, unopened items may be returned within 14 days of purchase for store credit or exchange. Items must include all original packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase. Opened items are subject to inspection and may incur up to a 10% restocking fee. Refunds are issued as
store credit only unless otherwise required by law.
Special orders and clearance items are final sale.
Used Gear
All used equipment is sold as-is and has been tested to ensure proper function at the time of sale.
If a used item experiences a functional issue within 7 days, please contact us. We will inspect it and, at our discretion, offer repair, replacement, or store credit.
Cosmetic wear is not considered a defect.
Film, Paper & Chemistry
Due to storage and handling sensitivity,
film, paper, and darkroom chemistry are final sale.
If you believe an item is defective from the manufacturer, we will assist with a warranty claim or replacement where possible.
Classes & Workshops
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the start time may be rescheduled or credited toward a future session.
No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
If Trackside Camera Supply cancels or reschedules a class, you will receive full credit toward another session.
Rentals
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice for full refund or credit.
Rental equipment must be returned on time and in the same condition as issued.
Late returns are billed daily at the standard rental rate.
Damaged or missing items will be billed at repair or replacement cost.
Deposits, when collected, are refunded after equipment inspection.
Services (Repairs, Scanning & Restoration)
Because these services are customized and labor-based, all sales are final once work has begun.
If an issue arises with your order, please contact us. We will make every reasonable effort to correct the problem.
