Founded by working photographers in Lafayette, Indiana, Trackside was built out of necessity — a hub where professionals and serious hobbyists can get the gear, support, and community they need without compromise.

We’re more than a shop. We’re a meeting place for creatives, a resource for equipment and expertise, and a partner for your craft. Whether you’re picking up a last-minute SD card, consigning vintage gear, or exploring new tools to push your work further, Trackside is here to keep you shooting.

Our shelves are stocked with trusted brands, and our services extend through our sister business, Picture the Past, for film development, scanning, and print work. We’re co-located with other photography businesses at 1601 Kossuth St., because community matters to us — and our hours and operations are designed around the real schedules of working photographers.

Trackside opens officially on October 15th, but we’ve been building toward this for years: a local photography hub, by photographers, for photographers.
